YOUR PATH TO A TARGET
READY IN WEEKS, NOT MONTHS

To a target-ready baseline
Tendril went from no footprint to ready to submit

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body that checks whether your emissions reduction target is ambitious enough to match climate science.
Most of their emissions sit with suppliers, so they need you to set targets too.
Direct and value chain operational data (Scope 1, 2 and 3), backed by real data, not estimates.
SBTi’s Corporate Net-Zero Standard V2.0 is out. Target validation under it opens in early 2027, with annual progress reporting and new accommodations for smaller companies. Read the new standard.
Retailers and brands score suppliers on targets and CDP. No target can cost you the account.
Building one by hand from bills and spreadsheets takes months.
And a big budget, while your customer waits.
We pull in your utility, fuel, travel and supplier data. No manual entry.
A dedicated specialist picks the right route with you and prepares your submission.
Track progress every year and see which projects to prioritize to profitably achieve your goals.
Automated data gets your baseline ready in 4 to 6 weeks, well before your customer’s deadline.
A dedicated Climate Action Specialist does the heavy lifting with your team, from first data to submitted target.
A validated target answers the request, lifts your CDP score and keeps you on the supplier shortlist.
The same data answers CDP, EcoVadis, customer surveys, SB 253 and CBAM, and shows which projects cut emissions and costs the most.

What is SBTi, and is it mandatory?
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) checks whether companies' emissions reduction targets are in line with climate science, and approves them. It was set up by CDP, the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and WWF. SBTi is voluntary and there are no fines. The pressure comes from customers: suppliers without a target can lose points in scorecards, RFPs and CDP.
